Klaus Strubel Wall Art

Klaus Strubel is a Germany-born artist who was blessed with artistic inclination since childhood. He was lucky to be awarded the most coveted scholarship to the American Famous Artists Schools in Munich, Germany. Strubel graduated with the Abitur degree in Germany at the age of 19. This is the only school-leaving certificate allowing the holders to directly commence studies at the university. Strubel studied classical archaeology, art history, the history of hand painted book illustrations and of printing at the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz. All these studies culminated in his major of The Romanticists of Heidelberg, the Landscape Paintings in the 19th Century. Klaus Strubel also studied architectural and constructional plans of Baroque Buildings. After that, he supplemented his academic education by taking a comprehensive training in oil and drawings in Art Academies in Heidelberg and Mannheim. Strubel is an eloquent spokesperson for Realism. His love of art and culture are evident in the award winning paintings he creates.

He is a dedicated artist who embraces fine art in all its scale. His unique style takes the viewers away from the day-to-day sceneries to places where there are decorative architecture, historic ships, lush vegetation, horse carriages, and many more. He captures a certain hour of the day and circumstances of light, perspective and depth that make his paintings very organic. Strubel established his own Studio and Gallery in Germany in 1978 which he ran successfully for 18 years. He later moved to Southwest Florida in 1997 and continued painting full time. His artworks are represented in fine art galleries throughout the US. He is a member of The Miniature Art Society of Florida and of the World Federation of Miniaturists.
