Ervin Clark (Born 1948) was born in Washington, Indiana and moved to northern California at 5 years of age. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and in 1973, he received classical training at California College of Arts and Crafts. He also holds a Masters degree from California State University at Chico. In the last 4 decades, Clark has traveled extensively throughout Europe and Great Britain studying the architecture and art of the masters. His art is in the collections of Harrah's Hotel and Casino, Lake Tahoe, NV, Amador Valley Athletic Club, Pleasanton, CA, Lesher Communications, Walnut Creek, CA, Inverness Lodge, Inverness, CA, National Utilities, San Francisco, CA, Atlantic Club, New York, NY, Hilton Hotel, San Francisco, CA, and Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas, NV.

A long list of mural and sculptural commissions attests to both his popularity as an artist and the demand for his work. Today, his work hangs in institutional and private collections worldwide. His art are much sought after and are highly priced by many discriminating collectors. Before shooting to discover the emotive appeal of a subject, Clark likes to take his time, and then offers a client various options to achieve his unique visions. He’s also keen to detail and is able to capture certain elements of his subjects that make them look quite realistic. It is this sensibility that has made his work to be popular and is of great value to commercial clients. His projects have received several Photography Awards. He’s much delighted when he raises the most ordinary of objects to iconic levels.
