Carla Kurt Wall Art

Carla Kurt began serious work in art while in high school. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Graphics and a Bachelor of Art Degree in Art. She gained recognition through a college internship in which she created computer graphics at Chicago's Museum of Science & Industry for a project exhibited in 1985. Her art is in corporate and private collections throughout the United States as well as internationally. Most recently collectors have come from Ireland, Canada, Malta, the United Kingdom, Norway, Italy, New Zealand, Sweden, Scotland, Spain, the Netherlands and Japan. In 2012, Carla was commissioned to do a flamingo drawing by the Cumberland Pencil Company in the United Kingdom. That piece of art is now shown on their colored pencil set packages and is sold worldwide. Four of her wildlife drawings were featured on the set of AMC TV’s newest show in 2013.

She resides on her family farm in the hills of Eastern Iowa. Here, she’s surrounded by cattle and cornfields, her love and respect for nature is reflected in her deeply realistic artwork. She’s a proud member of an international collective of women artists - Worldwide Women Artists - showing and selling their work online. Her art continue to cause a lot of excitement among collectors. She loves her work. In fact she’s always looking forward to more collaboration with bloggers, brands, publications and designers. Carla is happy that her work is being appreciated and shared through so many different platforms – both online and physical stores.
