He has also illustrated for Maxim and Stuff magazines, and worked as a concept artist for Sony Online Entertainment. His sense of humor is often evident in his paintings. Johnson had been working as a freelance illustrator working on a wide variety of projects before he was hired as a concept artist for Sony Online Entertainment.
