Glynda Turley Wall Art

Glynda Turley is an Arkansas artist who makes her home in the foothills of the beautiful Ozark Mountains. Her passion for art began when she was still very young but at the time she was growing up, art supplies weren’t available and art wasn’t offered in her rural country school. However, that didn’t stop her from pursuing art. With her school crayons and pencil, Glynda sketched and colored her very own paper dolls. By then she did not know that in just a few years time her art would grace the walls of thousands of homes across the country. Glynda’s designs have been licensed for many years for all kinds of home décor and gift products. Glynda has worked with world renowned artists. In all her artwork, heart is the operative term. She is so passionately involved with her art that every one of them vividly expresses what she feels about the subject.

Her artwork reflects her great love for nature and the beauty of her flower gardens. Her grandchildren are also often the subjects of her work. Her pieces of artwork go far beyond the usual of theme,  her choice eclectic and the subjects unique. In her work, Glynda communicates a full gamut of human sensation, from laughter to tears, from awe to understanding, and beyond. She strives to take the viewer of her work into a time and place of beauty, harmony and peace - where time seems to stand still. The multi-layered character of her work exceeds the one-dimensional nature of the medium she chooses. Her recent work is a collection of historic buildings and scenes from Cades Cove in the Smoky Mountains.
