Laurie Korsgaden Wall Art

Laurie Korsgaden is an artist who lives on the Central Coast of California. She studied art and science and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology and Biology from Long Beach State. Laurie has three grown children. Born in Red- lands, she enjoyed art as a hobby throughout her childhood. Today, her watercolors are best loved for their detail and beauty. Her love of animals and gardening are shown with her every brush stroke. While attending the University, she created scratch-board illustrations for the Cabrillo Museum in San Pedro, California and also worked as a pen and ink illustrator for CSULB. Laurie also worked as a freelance medical illustrator using pastels. Her ability to follow trends in subject matter and color has helped Laurie continue as a major force in the art industry since 1993 when she began her commercial career in art.

She has been using watercolor as her primary medium since then, and has been selling prints of her artwork throughout the world since that time. Laurie started in 90s as a self published Artist. She was selling open edition prints to the wholesale framing industry, and was introduced to the licensing industry by friends in the art industry. Since then, her images have enjoyed success with over 80 companies worldwide on various products in the house wares, home décor, stationery, and hobby and craft industries. Currently, she lives with her husband in Northern California. They have two daughters at home and a son attending college in Southern California.
