Joseph LaPierre Wall Art

Joseph LaPierre (Born in 1945) was born in New Hampshire. He died in 2009 and is greatly missed by family and friends. His treasured paintings and memories continue to give comfort and pleasure to those who knew him and who own a 'piece of him' in the name of his art. He received his formal art education at the Boston Museum School of Art and the New England School of Art. LaPierre’s enthusiasm and personality manifested itself in his relationships and in his paintings. He was a veteran of the Vietnam era, so he painted murals for the United States Army. Working with Acrylic paint and a palette knife kept his paintings very bright and loose. This also added to the lighthearted, cheerful and optimistic feelings of the everyday life portrayed in his artwork. In the 1970s and 1980s, while continuing to develop his skills, he worked as an art director for corporations in New Hampshire, California, Florida and New Jersey.

His art were and are still in great demand. They add to the lighthearted, optimistic and cheerful feelings of the everyday life portrayed. Winning many awards and much critical acclaim, his paintings hang in private collections, galleries, corporate offices and government buildings. They also adorn the walls of many private homes. His wife and children continue to reproduce his art on both canvas and paper, and they continue to participate in selected art festivals. The demand for his art has not changed since they are always fresh.
