Brian Foster Wall Art

Brian Foster (Born 1940) exhibited his art in Canada, Scandinavia and Europe. Through his investigation of fractal geometry, he was always fascinated by the pure perfection between how science and art meet. He believed that within chaos there is order, and that everything has its own unique perfection. He was ahead of his time and emphasized that we only need to move through what seems impossible to reach to a point where we believe that it is possible. In his work, Foster investigated desire versus reality. This made him to come up with a concept that humans are endlessly striving to maintain an impossible notion of perfection - That human beings are always looking fixated outward on a perception of beauty that’s idealized. Foster said that from where an individual stands, the world appears uncongenial, dark and unpredictable, but on the horizon, there is something magnetic and more tangible.

At the age of 39, he plunged into the images of infinite space and the world of chaos theory. In the six years that followed, he developed his work into three dimensional spacescapes. His hand-coded files, plotter, and ray-tracing software became his paintbrush. Through his work, his art became a great inspiration to many upcoming and established artists. He died in 2013 and it is everyone’s greatest wish that his remaining body of his work should be enjoyed by a much wider audience than could be reached during his lifetime. His early contribution to fractal-generated art is recognized the world over. His art is in many collections and can be seen adorning the walls of many prestigious buildings around the globe.
