Shelly Rasche Wall Art

Shelly Rasche is a freelance commercial artist from Camp Point, Illinois. She works with companies around the world from a studio in her home. Products that bear her designs in the market place include music boxes, baby bedding, framed prints, greeting cards, women’s clothing, mugs, collectible figurines and more. Hundreds of her designs have been reproduced on a wide variety of cloth, paper, and gift items. Shelly also loves to illustrate curriculum materials and stories for children. She uses pen and ink along with watercolor to make animals, children, or even angels spring to life with a character all their own. Her humorous and often warm illustrations for children have appeared in curriculum materials, magazines and books. In her spare time she loves to work in her extensive flower gardens, complete with butterflies, hummingbirds, and even Bob, a small turtle in her pond.

Shelly is married to Jeffrey A. Rasche, who’s an author and minister. The couple has three school-age children named Nicholas, Zachary and Ben. Over the past 30 years, her artwork has appeared on thousands of items around the world, including prints, greeting cards, clothing, children's books, fabric, yard flags, counted cross stitch designs, music boxes, Christmas ornaments, mugs, kitchen items, tins, and much more. The artist’s work is represented by art agents at Art Licensing, International in Vermont. The agents market her designs to companies all over the world, and then they "rent" her work for a specified geographical region and period of time for use on a specific commercial product.
