Carolyn Shores-Wright Wall Art

Carolyn Shores Wright began her career as an artist when she was already an adult, though she loved art since her childhood. She used to admire that works of other artists and even read their history and art books. The artist currently lives in Huntsville, Alabama. She began her art career when she already had two teenage sons. Her early works were done in acrylics and oils, but she discovered watercolor one day when she went for a vacation trip with her husband who gave her a set of watercolor paints. She instantly fell in love with watercolors and she soon realized she had found her perfect medium. From then onwards, her proffered medium has been watercolors. Carolyn has developed a style which is delicate, sensitive and uniquely her own. This style makes her art to be easily recognizable among the works of other artists. Her whimsical paintings express her own personality with that of the subject. These paintings have long been favorites of the public. She now produces more realistic paintings that show highly developed patterns and textures.

Her art has been used for promotional greeting cards by the Christian Children’s Fund, Audubon Society, Colorful Images, National Geographic, Military Officers Association of America, Retired Officers Association, Yankee Magazine and Smithsonian. Carolyn’s art has also been licensed for such products as greeting window decorations, cards, wallpaper, porcelain mugs, collector plates, books, stationary products, dining products, fabrics, tabletop figurines, t-shirts, and many other items.
